Over the Rhine is beginning to make a comeback from their years of depression. This new City Room will only add to the revival of the city. I want to focus on the excitement that is surrounding the city and it’s renovation. New restaurants are opening, affluent people are moving to the city, and the city is taking steps to stimulate the economy. Through all the hard times, the citizens have persevered and so have the buildings. With my City Room, I want to focus on the strength the city has endured. The building will be a nod to the history surrounding the city, but include a touch of the contemporary direction the city is headed.
